On behalf of the Scientific Committee and the Quality Improvement and Outcomes Committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics, District VIII Section on Neonatal Perinatal Medicine, we are pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts to be presented during 44th Annual Conference of the AAP District VIII Section on Neonatal Perinatal Medicine that will take place from June 16 to 18, 2021.
This year’s conference will be a virtual meeting featuring both state-of-the-art lectures and original research and quality improvement projects relevant to the neonatal and perinatal medicine community. Submissions by fellows, junior faculty, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, respiratory therapists, other allied health professionals, trainees and students are encouraged.
The abstracts will be accepted either as an electronic poster or a platform presentation. Dedicated sessions for poster and platform presentations followed by author Q & A will be interspersed throughout the conference.
Awards for best presentation in Basic science, Clinical research and Quality improvement will be announced by the conclusion of the meeting.
The abstract submission forms (QI and research) are attached; the submission deadline has been extended to March 19, 2021. Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance via email by April 12, 2021.
Encouragement of trainees to present their research and/or quality improvement efforts is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration and continued support of the AAP District VIII Section on Neonatal Perinatal Medicine.
